FBI Fingerprint Check Using Field Print

All new CAC members must complete the following 5 steps and then choose Option #1 or #2 to complete their FBI fingerprint check through Fieldprint:

  1. Go to the Fieldprint website and register as a "new user". While registering as a new user, the new CAC member (for both WA and OR CAC programs) will need to enter the WACC code: FPCNCSWaCampCompact24 (note: Code is case sensitive)
  2. Immediately, Fieldprint will ask the CAC member to schedule an appointment.
  3. When scheduling their appointment, we strongly encourage you, if you can, to schedule your appointment through a Livescan center near you (Option #1); however, if you do not live near and can't get to a Livescan center then you must follow Option #2 below.
  4. At the end of the process, print the confirmation page. Take the confirmation page with you to your fingerprint appointment, along with two forms of ID.
  5. If you have questions or problems, you make contact Fieldprint customer service at 877-614-4364 or customerservice@fieldprint.com.

Option #1: (strongly encouraged to use Livescan) Schedule your Fieldprint FBI fingerprint check through a "Livescan" center (Livescan centers are located in Bellingham, Seattle, Tacoma, Puyallup, Marysville, Olympia, Vancouver, Spokane, Yakima, and Portland, OR):

  1. Schedule your appointment at a Livescan center within a few days
  2. Member must bring two forms of ID and their appointment number to their scheduled appointment (a missed appointment cost $17.50)
  3. Get your fingerprints completed digitally at your appointment scheduled through the Fieldprint website (usually takes less than 10 minutes)
  4. You'll receive an email from Fieldprint within 72 hours with your results (usually within 48 hours). If prompted when reviewing your results on the Fieldprint website, please make sure to authorize Washington Campus Compact to receive your results.
  5. WACC will then download your results, review them, and place in your member file.

Option #2: Schedule your Fieldprint FBI fingerprint check where you will need to have your fingerprints rolled with ink (many of the Bellingham members will use this process and this option is more available in rural areas):

  1. Schedule your appointment through the Fieldprint website at a local center near where you live (usually a local police or sherrif's office)
  2. You will schedule your appointment atleast 7 days in advance (because Fieldprint will mail you the fingerprint cards at the address you provide)
  3. Fieldprint will mail you a fingerprint packet with 2 fingerprint cards, instructions, and a pre-addressed, postage paid envelope
  4. Fill out the fingerprint cards (Fieldprint Instructions for Off-Site Prints) and bring to your fingerprint cards and the Fieldprint self-address envelope to your appointment to get your fingerprints rolled
  5. Member must bring two forms of ID and their appointment number to the scheduled appointment through the Fieldprint website (a missed appointment cost $17.50)
  6. The member will have to pay a $5 - $25 rolled fingerprint fee to have it completed at a local institution (like at the Sherrif's office) (NOTE: member should get reimbursed by their CAC program supervisor)
  7. Once your fingerprint cards have been completed at your scheduled appointment, place the completed rolled ink fingerprint cards in the self-addressed envelope provided by Fieldprint and mail to Fieldprint asap.
  8. You'll receive an email from Fieldprint in about 14 - 22 days with your results. If prompted when reviewing your results on the Fieldprint website, please make sure to authorize Washington Campus Compact to receive your results.
  9. WACC will then download your results, review them, and place in your member file.
